Athletics Reflection Term 4

Yesterday was athletics day and I competed in the 9-year-olds.
Sadly I didn't make it into any finals in the running races. The 200 meters was the most challenging one I found cause there were soooo many fast people in the race.

The event I found the most enjoyable was shot-put, I love that I kept getting better on each try I do. ( I used Courage when I try to get better )

It was fun to cheer on other people from the grandstand even if I cheer on people from different house colors.

Whetu Challenge Week 3: Wanted poster

During Week 3 I and my friend Stephanie went on a mission to make the most WEIRDEST, most CRINGEST wanted poster of all!!!

Now we have to talk about the poster we made...
The First name of our character was made by my dear friend Stephanie, she chose Jeffery.
I chose the last name, I wanted to make a pumpkin so I chose a weird word and pumpkin, then mixed together to make McWonkyPumpkin.

Look down to see the photo of our wanted poster:

Fingerprinting Rotation

Today Fred the Moths got to make their fingerprints.
The steps we had to do were:

Step 1: Rub your thumb into your hair to make it greasy.

Step 2: Press lightly on the window to receive your fingerprint.

Step 3: Carefully dust your fingerprint, then put tape over it.

Step 4: Remove the tape and place it on a black piece of paper.

Here is how my fingerprint turned out:

Fingerprints Rotation Task

During the 2nd week of Term 4, we have been learning about our fingerprints. I have learned that 16 weeks of being pregnant your child will get their fingerprints. I have 5 whorls and 5 loops. On Tuesday Sally came and explained what her job was,, it was finding fingerprints. I got to make my thumb fingerprint on the window.

Look at my fingerprints:

First Impressions on the First Day of School

On Monday the first day of school, my first impressions were... "Why is there tape in front of the door?" then I just ignored it and carried on with the things I do in the morning.  Then it was time for class it was the first time I saw the crime scene, my mind was quite confused.  Then I read the whiteboard. I think the whole idea of solving the crime is very exciting. I am excited to figure out the culprit!!!!

Letter of the week #10

For this letter of the week, I went for a very different position or style from my other ones. I used pastel colors because they're right now my favorite colors.
